General terms and conditions

These terms apply when you use HomeRadar. By creating an account, buying a plan, or using the website, app, alerts, or emails, you agree to the articles below.

Article 1: Definitions

1.1 Service: the HomeRadar website, mobile app, matching system, notifications, emails, account area, and related features.

1.2 User or you: anyone who visits the website, creates an account, buys a plan, or otherwise uses the Service.

1.3 Account: the registration that lets you save preferences, receive matches, and manage your use of the Service.

1.4 Search profile: the filters, preferences, notes, locations, and settings you save for your housing search.

1.5 Listing: information about a rental home collected from third-party sources or shown through the Service.

1.6 Plan: a paid fixed-duration access plan for the Service.

1.7 Written: communication by email or through the contact form on the website.

Article 2: Applicability

2.1 These terms apply to every use of the Service.

2.2 If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the Service.

2.3 Extra terms shown at checkout or inside the Service also apply to the specific feature or plan they describe.

Article 3: Function of HomeRadar

3.1 HomeRadar helps renters find homes by collecting rental listings from third-party sources, comparing them with saved search profiles, and showing possible matches in one place.

3.2 Matches may be shown on the website, in the mobile app, or through supported delivery channels.

3.3 HomeRadar is an information and alerting service. We are not the landlord, broker, estate agent, property manager, or payment processor for any rental home shown through the Service.

3.4 Using HomeRadar does not guarantee that you will find a home, receive a viewing, or sign a rental agreement.

3.5 Listings come from third parties. We try to keep them useful and timely, but we cannot guarantee that every listing is available, lawful, complete, correctly priced, or error-free.

Article 4: Accounts

4.1 You may need an Account to use some parts of the Service.

4.2 Sign-in may be handled through third-party authentication providers.

4.3 You are responsible for keeping your login method secure and for activity that happens through your Account.

4.4 You may add one search buddy email from your profile. You are responsible for adding only an email address you are allowed to use for that purpose.

Article 5: Paid plans

5.1 We may offer one or more paid Plans.

5.2 Paid Plans are fixed-duration access plans and do not auto-renew unless we clearly state otherwise at checkout.

5.3 When a Plan ends, you need to buy another Plan if you want continued access.

5.4 The fees, duration, usage limits, and other commercial terms shown at checkout apply to your purchase.

5.5 Changes to prices or Plan details do not affect a paid Plan you already purchased, unless the change is required by law or clearly benefits you.

Article 6: Checkout and payments

6.1 For paid orders, payment and billing operations may be handled by us or by third-party checkout, payment, billing, reseller, or merchant-of-record providers.

6.2 These providers may process payments, calculate and collect taxes, issue invoices or receipts, and handle order-related billing operations.

6.3 You are responsible for providing valid payment details and for any taxes, bank charges, currency fees, or similar costs that apply to your order.

Article 7: Refunds and cancellation

7.1 Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

7.2 When you pay for a Plan, you may request a full refund during the 7 days after the original purchase date.

7.3 Approved refunds are returned through the original checkout or payment provider to the original payment method used for the purchase.

7.4 If a Plan does not auto-renew, access ends when the fixed period ends. If we ever offer an auto-renewing Plan, the renewal and cancellation terms will be shown before purchase.

Article 8: User responsibilities

8.1 You may use the Service only for lawful personal housing search purposes.

8.2 You must check important listing details with the original source before relying on them.

8.3 You are responsible for your contact with landlords, agents, property managers, and other third parties.

8.4 You must follow applicable laws and platform rules when responding to listings or sharing information from the Service.

Article 9: Abuse and prohibited use

9.1 You may not scrape, copy at scale, resell, publish, or commercially exploit listings, matches, or other Service content.

9.2 You may not impersonate someone else, misuse another person's data, submit abusive content, send spam, attempt to bypass security, or interfere with normal operation of the Service.

9.3 If we reasonably believe that you have misused the Service, we may suspend or terminate your access immediately.

Article 10: Intellectual property

10.1 The software, branding, design, and original content of HomeRadar belong to HomeRadar or its licensors.

10.2 You may not copy, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the Service except where the law clearly allows it or we give written permission.

Article 11: Privacy

11.1 We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11.2 Third-party services used for authentication, hosting, notifications, billing, payment processing, or listing sources may apply their own privacy policies.

Article 12: Liability

12.1 HomeRadar is provided as it is. We work to keep the Service useful, but we cannot promise uninterrupted access or perfect information.

12.2 We are not responsible for missed homes, incorrect listing details, delayed alerts, unavailable listings, rejected viewing requests, or temporary downtime.

12.3 Where the law allows us to limit liability, our responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the previous 12 months.

12.4 Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

Article 13: Changes to these terms

13.1 We may update these terms from time to time.

13.2 When we do, we will publish the revised version here and update the version or date at the top of the page.

13.3 Continued use of HomeRadar after an update means you accept the revised terms.
